?ade of plywood this handmade piece’s main decorative motif is the Helm of Awe, ? symbol used by the Vikings to strike fear into their enemies.
This model is made of 15mm thick birch wood, finished with a wood-burning technique, as well as staining and varnishing with linen seed oil. The shield is decorated with steel bolts and a braid in a Viking style. It comes with a wood handlebar installed on the back.
This shield can be used as a decorative wall hanger or for historical reenactment, LARP, etc.
